Caregiver qualifications

• First and foremost, our caregivers begin by being caring people. The type of people who want to care for others.
• Each caregiver is carefully screened, background checks completed, and references checked. Our caregivers are employees, not independent contract workers.
• Each caregiver is bonded and covered by Worker's Compensation Insurance.
• Caregivers are carefully matched with the needs of each prospective client based on personality and physical ability.

United Homecare Services caregivers are special people - people who live in your own community and have come forward to serve those who need an extra hand. Their non-medical assistance entails just about everything (see Services) a family member would be able to provide and a little bit more. Once a caregiver has met, and is approved by the client, we make every effort to maintain the continuity of the caregiver-client relationship. Our clients often remark that their caregiver is like one of the family.

In the event your regular caregiver will not be able to assist you at an assigned time, your care coordinator is prepared to have another qualified caregiver provide temporary service. This occasionally happens due to illness or vacations, but rest assured, you will be provided for with our flexible staff and service.
